If you have placed your order on-line, we will quickly send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
The email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your order details. The fact that you receive an automatic confirmation does not necessarily mean that we will be able to meet your order.
All new products purchased from Mobility World are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Please note that, due to variations amongst computer monitors, actual fabric colours may vary slightly from what appears on your screen. Please request a free fabric sample if you need to match existing furniture. In addition, we cannot guarantee an exact match of the chosen fabric to the sample due to shade variations in production.
Why two Prices – VAT Zero Rating
Some of the products in our range are designed specifically for the relief of chronic disability or illness and may be purchased, by those eligible, without paying VAT. The VAT free prices are shown in green in brackets on this website, along with a VAT Relief Available mark. For those products which do not illustrate prices in brackets, VAT relief cannot be claimed AND EVERYONE HAS TO PAY VAT.
You can pay by any: Visa or MasterCard credit card or by Switch and Delta debit card. To ensure that shopping on-line is secure, your credit/debit details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read your details as they are sent to us over the Internet. You may also pay by cheque or postal order if you wish. For more details see How to Order. The prices displayed on our web site are in British pounds.

Larger Item Delivery
Larger items are delivered via a courier service outside of our home assessment areas, These types of products will require you to manual handle the goods to get them into your property. The delivery drivers are not insured to enter your property and are contracted to deliver to the curb side of your address only. If you believe that you will require assistance with this delivery, then we recommend looking at our white glove delivery service below. In addition we cannot give a specific delivery time.
White Glove Delivery Service
White Glove Delivery Service (two-person delivery) is available on Mobility Scooters, Powered Wheelchairs, Riser Recliner Chairs and Electrical Adjustable Beds. This service has been designed to take away the headache of getting your product into the house and setup. Delivered within 10-14 working days, depending on your delivery address, the delivery team will bring the item into a room of your choice, assemble it, and complete a safety check before giving you a demonstration of how the product works. They will take all the packaging and dispose it. Deliveries are pre-planned, and you will be called 48 hours in advance to confirm your availability for a specific delivery day, and approximate time of the day. We provide a FREE White Glove Delivery Service within our home assessment area, If you are outside our home assessment are there will be an additional charge of £99.00.
We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
You can shop with confidence at Mobility World. Goods ordered on our website or by mail order may be returned, for replacement or refund, if not suitable for your use, provided we are notified within 14 days of receipt.
This is in addition to your statutory rights. The goods must be unused and in their original packaging and condition with all accessories.
To be eligible for a full refund from Mobility World Ltd, the product must be in a resalable condition. Excessive handling that goes beyond what is necessary to assess the nature and functioning of the goods may reduce the value of the item and affect the refund.
Since there is no fault with the product, it is your responsibility to cover the cost of returning it, even if special shipping methods are required.
Please note that we may charge for any transportation and handling expenses incurred.
In the event that you refuse delivery without prior arrangements once goods have been dispatched you will be responsible for all carriage cost incurred.

You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery such as Royal Mail First Class (Recorded Delivery).
Which products can't be returned?
The following products won’t be eligible for exchange or refund (unless faulty ):Products you received over 14 days ago
Products that have been opened or unsealed (other than where necessary to inspect)
Products without original packaging or labels
Products or packaging in poor condition
Products that contain your personal data or have been manufacturer-registered
Where a product has been personalised for you, or ordered to your specific requirements including made to measure items.
Online Exclusive orders are treated as special orders.
Products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons:
- Electrical Adjustable Beds
- Mattresses (unless indicated in a supplier promotion)
- Riser Recliner Chairs
- High Seat Chairs
- Face coverings
- Swimwear (where the hygiene seal has been removed)
- Toilet seats and Commodes etc
- Showering and Bathing Products
- Personal care products
- Any products that have been delivered and installed.
We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control.
We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
We make no promise that our website will be uninterrupted or entirely error free. Because of the nature of the Internet, the shopping online service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our Internet services for any reason beyond our control.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
