How to Order

It’s safe, easy and straightforward to place an order with us.

You can choose any one of the options below depending on what you’d prefer:
Shopping on-line is easy but we also take orders by phone, fax and post. We accept Master Card, VISA, Switch and DELTA for payment on line. We also take postal orders and cheques payable to Mobility World Limited for orders placed by post.

Order Security

Your safety is very important to us and mobiltyworld.co.uk uses the latest measures to protect your card security when you shop with us online.

We use 128-bit SSL Software to encrypt your credit/debit card information when you place an order on our secure server, which means that only we are able to decrypt the information in order to process your transaction.

When you click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button, you’ll get a message letting you know that you’re entering a secure area. The web address will change from “http://” to “https://”; and a padlock symbol (or key) will appear in the bottom right-hand status bar of your web browser.

In the unlikely event of unauthorized use of your credit or debit card for a purchase at mobiltyworld.co.uk, most banks and card issuers either cover all the charges or may limit your liability to just £50.00.

Despatch & Delivery

When you place an order via our website it will be processed on the next working day, goods are normally delivered by courier within 3 to 5 days subject to stock availability.
Post and packaging illustrated on both the shopping basket and checkout pages relate to the UK mainland only.

Delivery

Orders placed via the website will be processed next working day and goods are normally delivered by carrier within 3 to 5 days subject to stock availability. Larger Item Delivery

Larger items are delivered via a courier service outside of our home assessment areas, These types of products will require you to manual handle the goods to get them into your property. The delivery drivers are not insured to enter your property and are contracted to deliver to the curb side of your address only. If you believe that you will require assistance with this delivery, then we recommend looking at our white glove delivery service below. In addition we cannot give a specific delivery time.

Engineer Delivery Service

Engineer Delivery Service is available on Mobility Scooters and Powered Wheelchairs. This service has been designed to take away the headache of getting your product into the house and assembling it. Delivered within 10-14 working days, depending on your delivery address, the engineer will bring the item already assembled with pre delivery inspection completed with a safety check before giving you a demonstration of how the product works. There is no packaging to dispose. Deliveries are pre-planned, and you will be called 48 hours in advance to confirm your availability for a specific delivery day, and approximate time of the day. We provide a FREE Engineer Delivery Service within our home assessment area, If you are outside our home assessment are there will be an additional charge of £99.00. 

White Glove Delivery Service

White Glove Delivery Service (two-person delivery) is available on Mobility Scooters, Powered Wheelchairs, Riser Recliner Chairs and Electrical Adjustable Beds. This service has been designed to take away the headache of getting your product into the house and setup. Delivered within 10-14 working days, depending on your delivery address, the delivery team will bring the item into a room of your choice, assemble it, and complete a safety check before giving you a demonstration of how the product works. They will take all the packaging and dispose it. Deliveries are pre-planned, and you will be called 48 hours in advance to confirm your availability for a specific delivery day, and approximate time of the day. We provide a FREE White Glove Delivery Service within our home assessment area, If you are outside our home assessment are there will be an additional charge of £99.00. 

Overseas Orders

When you pay with a credit card you will be charged in Pounds Sterling and your credit card will be debited in your own national currency.
The actual exchange rate used for the transaction (and the final amount you pay in your local currency) will be determined by your credit card company.

(Please also note that if you pre-order any products with us, the exchange rate may vary significantly from the time you place the order to the time when we charge the transaction to your credit card.)

Returns And Refunds

You can shop with confidence at Mobility World.
When you buy goods through our website or by mail order they can be returned for replacement or refund, if they are not suitable for your use. Provided we are notified within 7 days of receipt.
This doesn’t affect your statutory rights in any way. We only ask that the goods are unused and still in their original packaging. 

In the event that you refuse delivery without prior arrangements once goods have been dispatched you will be responsible for all carriage cost incurred.

We reserve the right to charge for all carriage costs incurred. Please refer to our terms and conditions.

You will be responsible for the item or items until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature upon delivery such as Royal Mail First Class (Recorded Delivery).
