Investing in a quality mobility road scooter 8mph (Class 3) is the ultimate ticket to independence and heightened freedom for many. Browse the full range of new and used road-legal mobility scooters right here at Mobility World. With top speeds of up to 8mph, the scooters can be used on pavements and highways, and they aren’t considered to be motor vehicles – which means they avoid tax and MOT. Scooters, however, must be registered with the DVLA – but this is something the team here at Mobility World can take care of on your behalf. Our Class 3 road scooters do come with a few important restrictions:
    • A road scooter cannot be driven by an able-bodied person (except for training or maintenance purposes).
    • You must be aged 14 or over to drive one of these scooters.
    • The scooters cannot be used in cycle lanes, bus lanes or on motorways.
    • It’s not advisable to drive the scooters on unrestricted dual carriageways. If users do choose to take this route, they must use amber flashing lights.
