The Donna Award Riser Recliner has Tilt-in-Space (TIS) technology, which is available as an optional extra. When the chair is moved into a recline position the back angle to seat ratio does not vary, this helps with relaxation and lowers shear, (shear happens when the skin is pulled in different directions)
